Hi, I am in need of some help. I have been looking for a bigger safe to store guns and ammo in. While searching today I found a safe made by the 'safe cabinet company'. It was made in Marietta Ohio sometime after 1926. It is a standard 'me' type safe. 'me' type meaning medium exposure. Some of these safes (not all) were known to be constructed using asbestos. My question is.. Number one, is this ok to use in the house? I don't want to purchase something that is ultimately gonna make me or my family sick. Number two, is this safe to store guns and ammo in without damage to either? Any help is appreciated!!
